Northrop Grumman is seeking a Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This full time position is located in Morgantown, WV. The qualified candidate will support dissemination of vital public health information from a large organization within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Designs, models, documents, and guides the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for complex applications. Analyzes needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems, and develops technical, structural, and organizational specifications. May create standards and/or do modeling to monitor and enhance capacity and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conceptualizes designs, procures, and/or builds secure information technology (IT) systems, with responsibility for aspects of system and/or network development.
• Develops system concepts and works on the capabilities phases of the systems development life cycle; translates technology and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into system and security designs and processes.
• Develops and maintains business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs; develops information technology (IT) rules, and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
• Utilizes expertise on specific technologies and applies the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of computer software.
• Make use of specific technologies to further enterprise goals.
