Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Staff EVM Tools Program Cost, Schedule, & Control Analyst to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals. The preferred location for this position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama, but full-time telework may be considered.

The ideal candidate will be able to understand, develop, and implement solutions for technical, programmatic, and compliance issues regarding program execution and EVM (cost, schedule and technical objectives). The selected candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, strong presentation skills, and a comfort with seeking solutions from software documentation and vendor interaction. Also, the selected candidate will work well in a team environment and give consistent, applicable EVM direction to stakeholders such as program managers, control account managers, business managers, program control analysts, and schedulers.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports the EVM Tools administration, EVM tool testing, implementation of COBRA, maintenance of MPM, Help desk support, and development of EVM tools processes, templates and training
  • Provides End User support for EVM toolset (including Deltek Cobra, Deltek MPM, and Deltek wInsight software suite), along with supporting Earned Value policies and procedures
  • Implementation/maintenance of COBRA and associated tools
  • Maintains MPM and associated tools
  • Program start-up support (i.e. tools, EVM)
  • Works with the user community to develop and enhance processes, procedures, and online resources
  • Communicates latest recommended processes and tools
  • Supports Sector/Division Earned Value Compliance initiatives
  • Provides support and guidance for standard EV tools
  • Documents deficiencies and supports development of path forward
  • Liaises between NGDS-CSMR and Sector / Corporate
  • Presents results to Division leadership


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have one of the following:
    • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 19 years of program control or related experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business management, management of information systems, or related discipline with a minimum of 15 years of program control or related experience
    • Masters' degree in business management, management of information systems, or related discipline with a minimum of 13 years of program control or related experience
  • Intermediate skills operating in a Windows environment
  • Full understanding of Earned Value Management and experience with EVMS tools: Deltek MPM, Deltek Cobra, and Deltek wInsight software suite.
  • Experience providing internal and/or external customer service and support
  • Demonstrated experience providing end user support for EVM toolset
  • Experience working as a scheduler or a program control analyst
  • Knowledge of scheduling policies and procedures
  • The willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems, or related field (such as System Engineering)
  • Financial experience working as a Business Manager, Financial Analyst or Program Control Analyst
  • Technical proficiencies in Visual Basic/Visual Basic for Applications, SharePoint, SQL Server, website development
