The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an Associate Computer Systems Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Seaside, CA.

Realize the rewards of conquering a new challenge... as the qualified person for this role, you will become part of Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector working with the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and responsible for the following:
  • Developing computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
  • Establishing and documenting system parameters and formats, ensuring hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinating and/or modifying system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
  • Revising existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
  • Providing technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems, solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree and 0 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated abilities in communicating complex ideas clearly, in working with customers, and in working with software development.
  • U.S. citizenship and be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust designation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience communicating complex ideas clearly.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with customers.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working with software development.
  • Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of software development.
  • Familiarity with government environments and standards is desired.
  • Experience with Jira and MS Share Point.
  • A current Position of Public Trust designation.
