Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking self-motivated, hard-working full-time Communications Technician 3 or 4 for the NATO AGS Program in NAS Sigonella, Italy (Sicily). The selected candidates will perform on equipment and preventative maintenance functions to include: scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, disassembly, rework, modification, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of air and ground communications components, including line of sight (LOS) and beyond line of sight (BLOS) communications systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and applicable regulations. Troubleshoots and diagnoses various communications systems to include: radio communications and satellite communications malfunctions to eliminate discrepancies in minimum time. Configures antenna and radio equipment for efficient operations. Provide On-the-Job Training and platform instruction to NATO AGS customer when required.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for level 3:
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline and five (5) years of specialized experience OR; High School diploma and nine (9) years of relevant experience.
- A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- US or NATO SECRET Clearance Required.
-Able to commit to a 2 year overseas assignment
Basic Qualifications for level 4:
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline and nine (9) years of specialized experience OR; High School diploma and thirteen (13) years of relevant experience.
- A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- US or NATO SECRET Clearance Required.
-Able to commit to a 2 year overseas assignment

Preferred Qualifications:
-Must be familiar with troubleshooting techniques for a wide range of electronic communications components for both RF and digital systems in order to isolate and resolve faults.
-Previous Global Hawk experience or related ISR experience
-Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) satellite tactical radio systems
-Communications Security (COMSEC) methods and procedures
-RF cable sweeping/troubleshooting techniques using spectrum analyzers
-A+, Network+, and/or Security+
