Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manager of Systems Engineers to support the Command & Launch (C&L) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team. This position will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to lead well in a dynamic engineering environment. There is significant visibility with executive leadership and customer counterparts.

Provide leadership and oversight for the planning and execution of Systems Engineering and Integration activities for the Command and Launch (C&L) segment, reporting to the C&L SE&I Director. Responsible for the execution of day to day activities that support SE&I teams across the C&L segment, to include leading the upcoming Critical Design Review cycle, for planning and executing the SE&I EMD SOW, and proactively interfacing with other SE&I organizations and GBSD IPTs to ensure successful development of CDRLs.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors with a STEM Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) & 5 years experience.  Experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
• Active Secret clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Ability to lead a team of 20-30 engineers
• Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to brief Segment, Program, and Customer leadership
• Experience with Agile Development
• Demonstrated experience in program execution of systems engineering and integration activities

Preferred Qualifications:
• Active TS clearance
• Experience with weapon systems
• Experience leading a major design review (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering
