Responsibilities for this Pipeline requisition are: Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Cybersecurity Engineers to join our diverse and talented engineering organization in support of our National Defense as part of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. Join an exciting and new program as we embark to solve complex and novel engineering challenges. In anticipation of program award, we are seeking qualified candidates at various experience levels to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Job Description:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer on the DARC program, you will be able develop, design, build and implement a ground based radar capability critical for our national defense. The successful candidates should have strong problem solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with an experienced engineering and program management team to meet our customer’s needs.

Basic Qualifications:
- 2 – 14+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college; applicable experience may be substituted for degree
- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret - Current DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
- Security engineering skills with a working knowledge of cybersecurity technology and DoD/Federal cybersecurity policy (i.e., DoDI 8500.01, NIST SP 800-53, etc.)
- Familiarity in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Cybersecurity Lifecycle to include: identifying controls and overlays, generating testable requirements, identifying resilient architecture design, providing analysis of vulnerability findings, conducting verification testing of compliance assessments, and configuring, running, and scripting audit tools
- Technical documentation and analysis experience; proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite - Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance - Experience using and/or configuring LogRhythm or Equivalent SIEM / Log Aggregation software tool
- Experience performing vulnerability and compliance scans utilizing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) / Nessus / Security Center
- Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments of RHEL environments
- Understanding of networking, subnetting, firewalls, NAT, ACL's, etc
- Familiarity with HBSS (ePolicy Orchestrator 5.3, McAfee Antivirus, HIPS, Policy Auditor, RSD)
- Familiarity with STIG/SCAP compliance scanning and implementation
- Familiarity or experience with Agile development methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
