Merit321 is seeking a Pega Architect with a TS clearance to join our team. The selected candidate(s) will join energetic professionals on a mission to support the FBI's software development efforts and will possess prior experience in Pega Government Platform architecture, AWS systems, Pega Agile Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Service (TFS). Applicants with Pega-related certifications are at an advantage and will be heavily considered.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the architecture design, build, and deployment of new enterprise-wide Pega platform in an agile environment
  • Lead and mentor junior team members in an agile environment
  • Design Pega Government Platform architecture, including integration with external APIs and implementation in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
  • Implement Pega best practices, system improvements, and mentor teammates
  • Apply Agile Scrum processes and Pega Agile Studio in designing and leading implementation of an enterprise-wide Pega solution in AWS supporting multiple Pega applications
  • Lead Pega team in analyzing the business needs and the environment to ensure Pega solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment and strategy for employing new functionality and enhancements
  • Identify new opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of processes and reporting through digital solutions
  • Utilize Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to manage requirements backlog, maintain code versions, release notes and testing scripts, and track time utilization

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 6+ years - 4+ years delivering enterprise scale technical solutions and 2+ years designing and building enterprise-scale processes in Pega, including shared frameworks
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, i.e., business, engineering, management information systems
  • Experience with internal and external data sources in Pega workflow and forms
  • Experience with architecting shared data, framework, and UI components
  • Experience with creating out of the box reports
  • Strong understanding of basic database administration for Oracle / SQL Server databases
  • Knowledge of Pega best practices for workflow and form design
  • Knowledge of Pega out of box functionality and Pega implementation best practices

 

 

 

Preferred:

 

  • Experience with Pega Government Platform (PGP)
  • Knowledge of Pega system administration best practices
  • Knowledge of installation and configuration of Pega using a high-availability model in a Cloud environment, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Pega System Architect Certification
  • Pega Senior System Architect Certification
  • Pega Lead System Architect Certification
