Functional Analyst (Systems Engineer/Admin)

Our client in Arlington, VA has an immediate need for a Functional Analyst to join their team. TS/SCI Required.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The subcontractor shall design, test, build, and implement Directory Synchronization service(s) for the project.
  • Supports the internal system by participating in design, test, build, and implement Directory Synchronization service(s).
  • Active Directory Federated Services integrated authentication.
  • Experience with using active directory integration tools in support of Global Address List Synchronization (GAL Sync)
  • Creates/maintains system diagrams, schemas, and documentation
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
  • May program in an administrative language.
  • Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
  • Provides advice and training to end-users.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Education & Clearance Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • Active TS/SCI

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience 20+ years of related Microsoft Active Directory / systems engineering and/or administration experience. Additionally, analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects Additional Requirements
  • Must have at least fifteen years of experience, of which at least five must be specialized. Specialized experience includes supervision of system architects, comprehensive knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Use of structured analysis, design methodologies and design tools (such as IDEF1x, entity relationship diagrams, CASE, or other design techniques.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, object-oriented principles, COTS integration, or experience with the logical and physical functional, operational, and technical architecture of large and complex information systems.
  • Experience with Windows Servers Operating Systems required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory in a multi-forest environment preferred.
  • Must have current DoD 8570 compliance with IAT level II access.
  • Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) environment.
