The Maven Group's IT services client is urgently searching for a Database Administrator. Strong corporation providing IT and other technical services to federal government agencies.

This is a 6-month contract to hire role directly with the prime. 100% REMOTE. Secret clearance required. 

The chosen candidate will design, implement, and maintain complex databases. They will perform database programming and support systems design, and provide all activities related to the administration of computerized databases.

Ideal candidates will possess

• Must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret clearance
• Five years progressive experience of database query languages (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MS-SQL)
• Expertise with enterprise Oracle database software and application products, Microsoft SQL Server and IBM D2
• One of the following certification: CNA-Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH

To be considered above other candidates, you should have:

• Experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database
• Three years hands-on experience and expertise in Relational Database Management System
