Position Title: Security Solutions Architect

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Selected candidate will serve as lead architect for all security related engagements
• Drive the architecture of advanced security solutions and high-level network security designs
• Research, evaluate and drive next gen security IT solutions to solve customer needs
• Manage solution development and deployments while adhering to best practices and meeting customer expectations
• Lead project initiatives from small to large complex security solutions
• Tackle critical customer escalations as the technical point of contact
• Assist with RFQs, RFPs and BOMs when needed
• Assist with both high-level and low-level design documentations when needed
• Effectively work independently and within a team environment
• Develop and deliver technical proposals, LOEs, whitepapers and slide presentations
• Anticipated travel is up to ~50%

Skills:

• 10+ years of IT/ Network/Cloud and cyber security related consulting experience
• 10+ years’ hands on experience with network security design and implementation
• 10-15 years’ focused engineer/consultant experience on security technologies and solutions
• Proven ability to architect advanced security solutions at multiple level of the enterprise
• Substantial expertise designing and deploying solutions integrating multiple vendors / stakeholders requiring advanced integration efforts
• Excellent oral communication skills with ability to present in front of small/large audiences
• Strong MS Office skills developing technical diagrams, spreadsheets, presentations
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects and meet target deadlines
• Experience in technical architecture design, implementation and project management
• Advance experience designing & troubleshooting Cisco Identity Services Engine solutions
• Extensive field experience conducting security vulnerability assessments based on regulatory compliance guidelines (FISMA, STIG, PCI, HIPAA, etc.)
• Expert hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers and switches
• Strong experience with IPS/IDS, firewall, VPN, SIEM, CA, and/or PKI implementations
• Linux, VMware, and Active Directory experience is highly desired
• Strong background consulting and selling to Federal and DoD customers
• Advanced security certifications from multiple vendors (CCNP Security, RHCSA, JNCIP-SEC)
• Working knowledge of NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, IT or equivalent is desired
• Active secret clearance preferred (must be able to obtain)
