Supervisory Sr. Program Manager (offsite/CTR site)

Summary:

Infinity Technology, LLC, a nationally recognized information technology and professional services company, is currently seeking a Supervisory Sr. Program Manager, the location for this position will be offsite/Mclean, VA with possibility to Reston, VA/Ft Belvoir, VA/Crystal City, VA. This position is contingent on contract win.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation
  • Communicate and enforce development standards; perform analysis and make recommendations for development toolsets; oversee implementation of development toolsets and standardize processes and deliverables
  • Work with other project leads/managers to identify/assign resources to projects and develop/grow teams and keep them well informed of status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and client project manager
  • Review work of development team; create and execute development plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Communicate and enforce development standards; perform analysis and make recommendations for development toolsets; oversee implementation of development toolsets and standardize processes and deliverables
  • Own the development lifecycle and be responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project

Required Education, Certifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum education/degree requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Accounting, Business, or Finance);
  • Minimum 10 years DoD in program management with cost, schedule and performance responsibilities for contracts up to 100 FTEs;
  • Experience working in a DoD program office for system development and acquisition or similar organization. Specific experience related to federal financial management;
  • Firm understanding of DoD accounting and audit practices;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the agency-level (operational to strategic) DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES);
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical/subject matter expertise; and in planning, organizing, executing, and controlling project tasks resulting in successful delivery of professional services;

  • Previous experience preparing and presenting complex financial analysis to senior management (GS-15 to SES/FO/GO);
  • Experience in detailed requirements gathering, interpretation, analysis, and validation to develop strategic plans to meet customer mission requirements using Microsoft tools.

 

Desired / Preferred Qualifications or Skills:     

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience using DoD IT financial systems such as:

  1. DoD IT Investment Portal (DITIP),
  2. Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), or
  3. DTRA Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI)                  

  • Experience working in either DTRA or another Defense Agency (e.g. DISA, DIA, DLA, etc.).

 

Applicable Training or Certs Preferred:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Highly Desirable
  • Program Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM/DoD) Certification
  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification
