Looking for a general labor low-voltage apprentice with a good work ethic and strong character who can get things done with minimal supervision. No experience necessary; we'll train you from the ground up for a variety of trades in the construction industry.

We're a family-orientated business with more than 25 years of experience working on commercial and custom projects. We believe in investing in our employees. You'll learn a ton of great skills here, and you can quickly rise through the ranks if you're a fast learner.

You'll work on a wide variety of projects, including:
o Security
o Home automation
o Fire systems
o Networking/copper/fiber
o Audio/video
On entry, you'll be working on things like:
o Installing A/V equipment, low voltage devices (security panels,fire), and electrical boxes
o Running cable
o And more project-specific tasks

Apprentices are employed in high growth areas such as:
Security Systems

Commercial Audio/Video Systems

Control and Automation Systems
Copper/Fiber/Wireless Cable Installations

Program highlights:
You will be trained to install, maintain and service healthcare, audio, data, video, security and fire alarm systems.

Two-Four-year program, consisting of 4000-8000 hours of field experience and 600 hours of related schooling

Cost of schooling is split equally between apprentice and SIGNET

Upon completion of the program your Apprentice field and school hours satisfy the requirements for the MD Class-D System Technician License exam

Apprentices will:
Be paid a percentage of prevailing wage on certified rate jobs, depending on the Step level in the Apprentice Program.

Step to the next level every 1000 hours of field experience (approx. every 6 months).


A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are helpful but in some cases arrangements can be made.

If you have some previous construction experience (residential, commercial, home improvement, vocational training) it will help but not necessary.
