The mission of the Global Positioning System (GPS) Operations and Sustainment department within the Enterprise Ground and Operations Division is to provide world-class technical support to the operations and sustainment functions for the world s premier satellite navigation and time-transfer satellite system. This individual will join a high-performing team with extensive experience throughout the dynamic history of the GPS program and will be responsible for direct operations support for multiple blocks of GPS satellites. This position is located at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO.
The selected candidate must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to successfully interact with Aerospace peers, internal and external customers, and contractors. The successful candidate should also demonstrate significant personal initiative. Strong oral and written communication skills are required to provide support with the following key functions:
