General Summary:
UpSlope Advisors, Inc is seeking a qualified Senior SQL Database Administrator in the Northern Virginia area to support and manage databases in a production environment by managing the operations, services, and infrastructure needed to achieve the highest service levels.

Qualifications:

• DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification 
• Eight years of experience in SQL database administration supporting and managing databases in a production environment 
• Five years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations 
• Five years of experience with T-SQL and ability to write scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance functions 
• Three years of experience serving as a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, validate team members work consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines. 
• Five years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.
• Four years of experience planning, and implementing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs.
