What will you do?
Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Security Manager. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located at our facility in Melbourne, Florida, with overnight travel to our office in Fairfax, Virginia, and to customer sites as needed. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:
The successful candidate will manage and coordinate all aspects of our industrial security program:
- FCL compliance: submit change control packages through NISS
- Accreditation: support accreditation and assessment as needed
- Safeguarding: protect classified information in compliance with NISPOM guidelines
- DD254s: develop and maintain prime and subcontractor DD254s
- Insider threat: Serve as Insider Threat Program Security Officer and manage corporate Insider Threat Program
- Personnel Security: process personnel security clearance submissions and support documentation through the screening process
- Visits and meetings: process meeting requests and send clearances via JPAS
- Security incidents: investigate security violations and conduct administrative inquiries
- Security awareness and education: create and maintain corporate security training
- Briefings: conduct various security briefings and submit associated paperwork
- Transmission: provide transmission and courier support as needed
- Annual audits: conduct annual self inspections and support DCSA and customer inspections
- Security databases: update and maintain information in JPAS/NISS/DISS/eMASS and other security databases
- RFPs: contribute to requests for proposal by preparing security proposals
- Contract and customer deliverables: contribute to contract deliverables by preparing program-specific security guidelines, briefings, and documents
- Physical security: respond to alarms, update and maintain badges, and process visitors; candidate must be available to support after-hour needs (e.g., physical security, alarm response, and traveling); however, support will be provided so that the successful candidate can enjoy a flexible schedule like all Azure Summit Technology employees
Basic Requirements
- US citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
- Active TOP SECRET clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ facility security officer experience or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Expert knowledge of the NISPOM
- Ability to analyze and report on complex security issues to a high level
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
