Member of a team responsible for monitoring and assessing security systems to determine relevancy and urgency of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents. You'll be responsible for monitoring IDS alerts, suspicious emails, network logs, and any other resource that provide insight into an entity’s network activity. Additionally, you'll be responsible for analyzing host data to identify misconfigurations, indications of compromise, and general network hygiene practice. 

U.S. Citizenship is required. Work location is in Herndon, Va. However, you'll be predominantly working remotely.

• Industry certification(s) in any of the following, GCIH, GSLC, CEH, CISSP, Security+ 
• Advanced knowledge of security use case development within common SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm, ArcSight, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of any programming or scripting language
• Former experience working in a SOC responsible for real-time monitoring and response
