Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Controller for a large DoD program. As Project Controller, you will play a crucial role in tracking and reporting the schedule and funding budgets to the Deputy Program Manager. You will work directly with the Deputy Program Manager to ensure all CDRLs are delivered on time. You will work a liaison between the Project Managers and functional support teams such as contracts, subcontracts, and finance. You will report directly to the Deputy Program Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle confidential information and documentation related to project deliverables
  • Serve as an effective liaison between different levels of management, contracts, and finance offices demonstrating diplomacy and excellent communication skills
  • Develop and implement financial control mechanisms to monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial goals
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement risk management plans
  • Create regular reports for supervisors to provide updates on project status and key milestones
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather financial and risk-related information, analyze data, and generate accurate reports for senior management
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to project timelines
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and finance departments, ensuring effective communication and alignment on financial processes and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding financial planning, budget allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree in Business Management or Finance is preferred)
  • 8+ Years proven experience in project control, financial management, or risk management, preferably within the IT industry
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost control
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and experience in developing risk management plans
  • Proficiency in using financial management software and tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and risk-related data
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) certification are a plus
