Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) ishiring a full time Configuration Manager. We are looking for motivated, smart and friendly individuals to help build our team.

Why This is an Exciting Role:

The Configuration Manager oversees the adherence of DevOps and development teams to established processes and procedures, ensuring transparent communication and effective collaboration. Responsibilities include developing and enforcing governance policies, facilitating product reviews, change management, and defect tracking activities. This role involves creating governance plans, monitoring progress through change requests, and conducting process audits to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the Governance Manager interfaces with relevant stakeholders to optimize process efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Description:

Provides overall configuration management infrastructure and environment to the product development teams. The Configuration Manager has to ensure that the CM environment facilitates product review, change. and defect tracking activities. This role includes writing the CM plan and reporting progress based on change requests, understanding configuration management principles, and preferably having experience or training in the use of CM tools. This role is responsible for the execution of the process which includes operating the defined and agreed process, ensuring it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, performing process audits, and managing the process improvement cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply governance expertise to oversee software development and DevOps activities.
  • Implement and uphold configuration management principles and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with teams using DevOps methodologies and tools to optimize workflows.
  • Foster team collaboration through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop and enforce governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage change requests effectively by overseeing change management processes.
  • Conduct process audits and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and compliance requirements to ensure adherence.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.

Required Experience/Education:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Experience with Project Management (PMP or Project+ preferred)
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management Tools (XACTA preferred)
  • High level of Attention to Detail
  • High communication skills; written and oral
  • Bachelor's degree and typically 14 years of related work experience
  • Experience working on teams supporting IC analysis, operations, and/or production applications and underlying cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) at DIA minimum 8+ years
  • Direct experience with the TAC, MEME and/or other A&P C

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$161,000 - $205,000
