Job Description:
NS2 Mission is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will excel at designing, building, and deploying a highly scalable, robust data management framework for our customer. The candidate must be able to work well in a highly collaborative and fast paced environment to meet defined requirements and satisfy customers. The candidate will be responsible for converting high-level requirements into detailed designs and produce working code consistent with the established architecture and interface specifications. The candidate will also be responsible for performing unit testing and working within the established continuous integration environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Software Engineering role
• Demonstrated experience with any of the common object oriented or functional languages (Java, Python, Scala, Kotlin, Elm) and familiarity with at least one of the following frameworks or equivalent: Angular, React, Node.js
• Demonstrated experience in-memory, graph, or relational data stores (e.g., Redis, MS SQL Server, Neo4j, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in Continuous Integration / Deployment using Git, Bitbucket, and Bamboo
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other Cloud Service Providers (Azure, Google, Oracle) 
• Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated experience in deep technical understanding of Cloud architecture
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with distributed cross-platform applications, orchestration and security
