NS2 Mission is actively seeking to add highly motivated Aerospace Engineering Subject Matter Expert to support our team in Chantilly, VA. 

Join our team of overachievers supporting the Intel Community to help protect the security of our nation, specifically in the realm of space protection. Learn from other Subject Matter Experts in an interesting product domain. Candidates should be innovative, passionate and ready for a challenge. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Aerospace or other Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• Experience in supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis of national security space related problems desired
• Aerospace Software Tools: STK/Astrogator, ODTK, Astrodynamics Standards Workbench
• Experience with the Space Command and Control Systems
• Experience with the application of orbital mechanics to Space Situational Awareness (SSA)
• Experience with RF and lasers to apply to safety of flight
• Experienced with Space Base SDA operation and system architecture
• Experienced with command and control system operational CONOPS
• Strong leadership and communication skills 
• Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic team environment developing solutions from both written and spoken requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Linux
• Experienced with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and System Modeling Language (SysML)

• TS/SCI with consent to Poly
