The Senior Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing CWMD mission gaps and needs. Integrate mission analysis to support materiel and non-materiel paths, independent of specific solutions. Develop and use operations research techniques such as mathematical optimization, decision analysis, graph theory, and statistical analysis. Implement data exploration techniques, analytical methods, operations research, and modeling and simulation tools to support program execution. Develop plans of action and timetables in order to meet established deadlines. Develop executive briefings, detailed technical documentation, memos, and Contract Deliverables. Develop risk assessment scenarios, conduct various displays and reporting of analysis. Lastly, Lead and prepare annual congressional reporting with the contractor team, brief results to senior management.

Required

  • Bachelors' Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience with quantitative risk analysis
  • Experience in any of the following programming languages: Python, R, MATLAB, Java, C++, VBA, SQL.
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI and DHS Suitability.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, quantitative social sciences, or a related discipline. Experience providing analytical support to the Department of Homeland Security
  • Experience conducting risk assessments related to Weapons of Mass Destruction. Experience building and validating a model or simulation and Familiarity with WMD defense and deterrence concepts. Familiarity with WMD sensors that can detect radiation, chemical or biologic agents, and with non-technical detection methodologies (e.g. law enforcement and intelligence).
  • Experience with Application Security Threat and Attack Modeling (ASTAM), Experience with the Countermeasure Assessment and Planning Tool (CAPT), Experience with the Chemical Consequence and Threat Tool (CCAT), or Experience with the Homeland Explosive Consequence and Threat Tool (HExCAT) and TS/SCI with DHS Suitability
