Provide a broad range of cost estimating support for the Space Systems Command. This includes software cost estimate development for a portfolio of programs across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle). Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and updating credible, defensible, and replicable cost estimates for all software related components within the portfolio across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to source/logical/physical lines of code, programming productivity and maintainability, code growth, engineering updates, capability insertion in accordance with program documents (e.g., Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD)) and applicable policies and guidance. Government- approved cost estimating tools/software will be utilized to perform the cost estimates leveraging data from Government-approved, published database(s) to include but not limited to Unmanned Space Vehicle Cost Model and Defense Cost and Resource Center.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics required
-OR-
7-10 years of combined industry and federal government experience (such as DoD/NASA/NRO employee or SETA/FFRDC supporting federal government acquisition) in Software estimating for space acquisition
Tools experience to include 10 years proficiency with cost models (ACEIT, USCM, SEER,MS Office, PRICE & SMC/Industry standard models)
