ORACLE is searching for a skilled Machine Learning Technical Director with data analytics and machine learning implementation experience in a cloud-based environment. Candidate will focus on complex data challenges that require creative solutions to help solve customer business needs through the curation of data using ML techniques.
 
 
The Oracle National Security Group is seeking consultants that have a passion for machine learning, data analytics and experience managing full stack software development projects that can support several exciting internal and customer facing engagements. Those who excel in this role are motivate self-starter who love to solve challenging problems and feel comfortable working directly with customers, as well as, on innovative internal development efforts. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a contractor in the Intelligence Community, DOD or DHS.
  • 8+ years developing machine learning solutions that have been deployed into production environments.
  • 10+ years of software development experience which may partially overlap with ML experience.
  • Technical expertise and hands on experience software engineer with knowledge applying these skills to cloud, data analytics, cyber security, high performance computing, fault tolerance, or mission critical customer applications.
  • Proficiency in Python or R
  • Experience applying statistical models and developing Machine Learning solutions (regression, classification, clustering)
  • Experience in optimization and scaling of ML solutions for real world business use cases.
  • Understanding and experience in system/product design towards strong security, performance and scalability, high availability, and manageability
  • Exposure to application design patterns and insights into applications architecture and integration with cloud infrastructures
  • Proficient in a software development language such as Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience using ML Algorithms for Outlier Detection and/or Clustering
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
  • Deep commitment to product quality and passion for excellence

 Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI and Poly (will consider non cleared candidate with DOD or DHS experience)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Science or Data Science
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to lead a team of developers while also developing code
