The individual selected for this position will support the Customer’s organization responsible for business and application processes.  The candidate will be responsible for engaging with the program sponsor to analyze existing applications, systems, and business processes to provide the necessary guidance for updates to ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) module.  The candidate will engage with the different IT organizations and assist with the research, and implementation of enterprise processes.

The candidate will gain deep insight into the customer’s business priorities and lead consulting engagements, enabling customers to meet their mission, business, and system needs.  The candidate will become the trusted advisor to the customer by helping to define the Enterprise processes and leading technical discussions that enable the customer to realize continuous value from their investment in the sponsor’s technologies, solutions, and operational sustainability. 

The objective of this role is to work closely with IT organization to establish any possible changes to the ServiceNow ITSM module, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

  • Prepare deliverables (ex. Weekly status reports, monthly PMR slides, project schedules, process/procedures documentation as necessary.
  • Update briefings and training materials as changes necessitate.
  • Provide input to customer satisfactions and customer feedback loops for change management.
  • Apply, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.
  • Perform strategic system planning, business information planning, business, and ability analysis.
  • Gather user requirements and communicate effectively with development team and stakeholders as to purpose of requirements and importance across an enterprise user base.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and constraints.
  • Manage project schedules and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirementsback to top

  • ServiceNow Certification or ability to get one.
  • Demonstrated ability/proven track record of leading project teams and working independently as appropriate.
  • Expert working knowledge of ServiceNow or other comparable enterprise incident management/ service request tools
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal means along with experience in making presentations.
  • Active TS/SCI w/POLY
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7
