The individual selected for this position will support the Customer’s organization responsible for business and process application processes.  The candidate will be responsible for engaging with the program sponsor to analyze existing applications, systems, and business processes to provide the necessary guidance to implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.  The candidate will engage with the selected organizations and assist with the research, plan development, and implementation to deploy Discovery and Service Mapping in the selected organizations.

The candidate will gain deep insight into the customer’s business priorities and lead consulting engagements, enabling customers to meet their mission, business, and systems’ Disaster Discovery (DR) objectives.  The candidate will become the trusted advisor to the customer by helping to define the Enterprise Architectural strategy and leading technical deployments that enable the customer to realize continuous value from their investment in the sponsor’s technologies, solutions, and operational sustainability.  The objective of this role is to design, migrate, deploy Enterprise Discovery and Service Mapping, and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

  • Prepare deliverables (ex. weekly status reports, monthly PMR slides, project schedules, process/procedures documentation) as necessary.
  • Develop roadmaps, manage customers’ expectations, interface with development teams. and deploy enterprise capabilities
  • Update briefings and training material as changes necessitate
  • Provide input to customers satisfaction and customer feedback loops for change management
  • Apply, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.
  • Perform strategic systems planning, business information planning, and analysis
  • Gather user requirements and communicate effectively with development team and stakeholders as to the purpose of requirements, importance across an enterprise user base.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total system solutions, acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Manage project schedules and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Willingness to get ServiceNow Certification (Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), etc.)

Job Requirementsback to top

  • Active TS/SCI w/POLY

  • BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 8-10

  • Demonstrated ability/proven track record of leading projects teams and working independently as appropriate

  • Expert working Knowledge of ServiceNow or other comparable enterprise Incident Management, Service Request tools or CMDB.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal means along with experience in making presentations.
