ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

• Performs the installation, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration management of websites and application systems hosted on Windows based servers
• Troubleshooting and resolve issues related to server and software issues
• Provides direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal and external teams
• Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

• Windows web/systems administration experience required
• Installation/configuration of web and application server software required
• Troubleshooting of server/software issues required
• CompTIA Security+ certification required (must show proof of cert prior to interview)
• Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies desired

Education/Experience: BS/BA or AA/AS degree OR HS and 2 years related experience.

Security Clearance: Active TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI.

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change if additional client direction is received.
