Sciens Innovations is seeking Systems Engineers to apply systems engineering principles across all life cycle phases, including Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. This role involves interaction with government stakeholders, program personnel, and senior executives to ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables in alignment with ISO/IEC 15288 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply systems engineering activities and deliverables throughout the technical process areas of ISO/IEC 15288, including:
- Technical Process Areas: Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
- Project Process Areas: Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
- Enabling Process Areas: Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
- Acquisition and Supply Process Areas.
- Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparing work products in multiple ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
- Conduct analysis of technical alternatives and provide preliminary recommendations.
- Support the preparation and delivery of work products in Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of deliverables while maintaining the technical integrity of projects.
- Strong ability to interact with government personnel and senior executives to resolve technical challenges.
- Experience in performing analysis of technical alternatives and systems engineering deliverables.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15288 process areas and systems engineering life cycle phases.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
- Option 2: Master’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline may substitute for one (1) year of systems engineering experience
Preferred Skills
- RF engineering experience, with the ability to design, test, and evaluate hardware and software solutions, including schematics, mechanical drawings, and documentation.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field is highly desirable and can substitute for one (1) year of required experience.
Compensation
- Compensation Ranges from $90,000 - $200,000 based on Qualifications, Education, and Years of Experience.
