This IdAM Systems Engineer will work with a team of technical cloud computing professionals to rapidly build and deploy a demonstration capability while simultaneously supporting the program office to specify, design, and deploy the final system. Development will take place in an iterative fashion using scrum techniques with inputs from multiple stakeholders. The development team will rapidly grow into a large scale, enterprise development effort. This position will require exceptional flexibility and technical skills. The work will be done in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and changing requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Participating in system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing of an agency-approved IDAM solution

• Supporting an Attribute Based Access Control ABAC application development, integration, deployment, and maintenance. Design, develop, build, and test IT engineering solutions utilize for aggregation of attributes from authoritative sources, integration with Virtual LDAP Directory, Web Services

• Developing advanced engineering ideas and guiding their development into a final product

• Creating and maintaining programmatic and technical documentation

• Implementing system enhancements resulting in improved IT enterprise performance

• Analyzing customer requirements, specifications, and proposing solutions that fit to standards, compliance, and operational requirements

• Create, manage, and update issues related to development tasks in JIRA

• Version control and source code management

• Code testing and integration with CI/CD pipelines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active TS/SCI and FS poly clearance

• Knowledge of agency-standard IdAM solutions and implementations

• Linux/Unix systems administration

• Cloud application (AWS/Azure) architecture

• AWS Cloudformation

• Large scale system integration

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Scripting to automate developer or operations functions

• Developing enterprise and solution-level architectural designs

• JIRA, Confluence and other project management tools
